This privacy statement outlines how Ribhus Studio ("we", "us", or "our") processes and protects personal and architectural data collected through our website theribhus.com and through our project communications.
We respect the confidentiality of European consultancies, architects, and engineering partners. We design our workflows to comply with applicable data protection principles, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).
2. Data We Collect
We only collect information necessary to provide our BIM modeling services:
- Contact details: Name, work email address, company name, and phone number when you submit a pilot request or email us directly.
- Project drawings & technical inputs: 2D architectural plans (PDF, DWG, DXF), scanned blueprints, and project specifications submitted for quotation or BIM modeling.
- Communication records: Inquiries, scope notes, revision requests, and formal correspondence.
3. Purpose of Processing & Legal Basis
We process your data exclusively for:
- Preparing fixed-price project quotes and turnaround schedules (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Executing agreed BIM conversion, ArchiCAD/Revit modeling, and IFC 4.3 export deliverables.
- Responding to customer inquiries and free pilot submissions.
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or publicly disclose your architectural drawings or contact information under any circumstances.
4. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) & Client CAD Security
We routinely sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with energy consultancies and architectural practices before receiving source drawings. Your drawings, site addresses, and client identifiers are treated as strictly confidential proprietary information.
All project data is stored on encrypted, access-restricted workspaces and is permanently deleted upon client written request following project delivery and sign-off.
5. THE RIBHUS AUTOMATION & Google API User Data Policy Compliance
Our desktop application and cloud management service, THE RIBHUS AUTOMATION, utilizes Google Identity and OAuth 2.0 services to authenticate authorized team architects and modellers.
Information Accessed: We request access only to basic profile identity (name, email address, and profile photo) to authenticate users and allocate secure modeller sandboxes within the company's 5 TB cloud storage vault (USERS/user_email/).
Limited Use Disclosure: THE RIBHUS AUTOMATION's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Isolation & CAD Protection: Architectural floor plans, Archicad models, PLN project files, and personal workspace templates are never used for machine learning model training without explicit consent, nor are they ever shared or sold to third parties.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
Under European data protection laws, you possess the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request immediate deletion ("Right to be Forgotten") of your personal data and project files.
- Object to or restrict data processing.
