Launch & Authenticate with Google

Open the app. You will be greeted by the gated onboarding screen. Click "Continue with Google" or enter your authorized team email. The system automatically creates your isolated user workspace in the cloud vault:

Grant 1-Click macOS Permissions

macOS requires two permissions so the app can place drawings at coordinate origin (0, 0) and automate Archicad menus without human intervention:

  • Accessibility: Enables CoreGraphics coordinate entry (`x 0 y 0`). Click "Open Settings" in Step 2 to toggle on.
  • Automation: Allows AppleScript communication between the app and Archicad.

Select Archicad Version & Personal Template

Select whether you are running Archicad 28 (modeller team standard) or Archicad 29 (Chief Architect). Then provide the path to your current office template or base PLN file.

Clean Template Guarantee: The app opens your PLN, purges previous test drawings, and saves a spotless personal template in ~/.ribhus_templates/. Your firm's custom layers, pens, composites, and views remain completely intact.

Register Office GDL Library Path

Provide the local folder path to your office Archicad Library (e.g. /Applications/GRAPHISOFT/ARCHICAD 28/Archicad Library 28). This guarantees placed drawings reference authentic office library macros.

Configure Gemini Copilot API Key

The app includes a 1-click link to Google AI Studio. Generate your free key and paste it into the field. This powers real-time architectural drawing classification and German nomenclature translation.

Execute 100% Pre-Flight Verification

Click "Run Pre-Flight Test". The system executes live hardware tests across all components. Only when all tests turn green does the ChatGPT workspace unlock!
